Finance Director
As Finance Director at CFO Montreal, you will have the opportunity to work with different companies in the midst of change. A varied clientele, but your approach will remain the same: act with senior management as CFO in residence. You will need to understand the strategic business issues to establish the priorities of the teams in place. This is a leadership role that requires technical accounting capacity across all financial operations.
Roles and responsibilities
Your primary role will be to analyze the past to better advise the future of CFO Montreal's clients. Is the current process the right one with the right people? Then comes change management. Our clients have needs in team management, financing, recovery or growth. It is in order to support them in one or more of these situations that you will have to fulfill the following tasks:
Quickly understand the accounting processes in place at our clients and be able to make the necessary changes;
High-level financial modeling including complete financial structure;
Preparation and application for equity, loan and grant financing;
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives at clients such as optimizing the accounting cycle, improving management systems, redefining internal control procedures;
Assist senior management in managing the existing team;
Produce monthly and quarterly client reports, gap analysis, dashboard, management KPIs;
Provide operational and strategic recommendations based on your analyses and help with their execution;
Design documentation for presentations to clients, company staff and participate in their presentation;
Work towards the growth of the company through the development of internal processes, project management and organization of teamwork;
Quality control of financial information;
Customer cash management and risk analysis;
Ensure financing claims;
Ensure the link with external accountants for year-ends;
Support the internal CFO Montreal team;
